Bio

Once upon a time, there was a 5"1 1/2 Special Education teacher. Her name is Ann Torralba. A lot of people know her as Little Miss Ann now. Ann's parents immigrated from the Phillipines a year before she was born. Little Miss Ann started playing guitar for fun when she was 19 years old. She was in a "grown-up" band when she was getting her Master's Degree in special education and while she was teaching for 7 years.

When her daughter was 3 years old, Ann decided to work at the Old Town School of Folk Music as a Wiggleworms instructor. That was 8 years ago. Someone in one of those classes suggested she make a kids cd. Even though, Patrick, her husband, their daughter, and Ann had just bought their very first house, Patrick was very supportive of Ann. He even drummed on that cd and made all the artwork. Things turned out well. They went on to make 2 more cd's and have played all over the place in Chicago and out. She even gets asked to do some really fun things like make a Nodcast Podcast for the Land of Nod or cover a cool Woody Guthrie song for his 100th birthday.

Little Miss Ann considers herself a late bloomer. She is very happy to have found something she loves to do. She really enjoys playing music that brings happiness to kids as well as sending positive messages to young souls.
